Jingnan Du

Biography

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Notre Dame, where I am also affiliated with the Human Imaging Center. Before joining Notre Dame I was a postdoctoral researcher with Randy Buckner in the Department of Psychology and Center for Brain Science at Harvard University, and a visiting postdoc with Ev Fedorenko in the Department of Brain and Cognitive Sciences at MIT. I received my Ph.D. in Applied Math with Jianfeng Feng at the Institute of Science and Technology for Brain-inspired Intelligence, Fudan University, spending the final two years of my doctoral training as a visiting student in Randy Buckner's lab at Harvard. My research focuses on investigating the organization of large-scale human brain networks and their roles in higher-order cognitive functions, such as language, remembering, social inference, and working memory.
