Biography

Sofia Cipollone is a senior from Bethesda, Maryland majoring in Applied and Computational Mathematics and Statistics (ACMS) and Psychology. She brings this quantitative training to the study of individual differences in brain organization, analyzing fMRI datasets in the lab to learn how precision functional mapping resolves networks that group averaging obscures. She is particularly interested in connecting her brain mapping research to potential clinical applications. After graduating from Notre Dame, she is considering pursuing a PhD in Clinical Psychology. Outside of academics, Sofia enjoys listening to music, thrifting, and spending time with her family and friends.
